After their 100% record came to an end with a a heavy defeat at home last week, Bolton under 13's bounced back to winning ways with an impressive win by 17 tries to 3 away at Ashton under Lyne.
The Bolton pack dominated once more with several scrums won against the head and Ashton being closed down quickly whenever they won posession. Big tackling once more from Sam Atherton Oliver Belle and veteran Freddie Holt-Gregson was in evidence as Bolton took control of the game from the kick off and by half time had an 8-2 advantage.

Before this match Leon Hodson had scored a hat trick in every game this season and he maintained this record after only 16 minutes of play with three excellent individual efforts. Hodson would go on to score six tries in total in this match bringing his season's tally to 27 in just six matches.

Not to be outdone, Oliver Keogh who himself has scored in every match this season also ran in a hat-trick (his third in six games). Ben Price bagged a brace of tries through his intelligent running and position play. Other backs to get on the scoresheet were George Jackson after a fine build up, Tyler Maley touching down through a well practiced overlap move and Ed Perris also scored twice, his last effort being the try of the match as he ran on to a cheeky Ben Price chipped kick following yet another successful scrum from the Bolton pack .

Added to this, Sam Atherton also scored twice to ensure that the forwards had their efforts recognised on the scoreboard.
