Tyldesley travelled to Bolton and brought with them a large squad of 11 which was good because with two players away this weekend Bolton only had 7 players available.
Tyldesley provided two players to the home side to even up the teams and Bolton would like to thank Matt and Logan for volunteering.
Tyldesley started the stronger side with Bolton hanging off the rucks and mauls. Tyldesley soon scored after weak tackling by the Bolton side let them in.
Alex Ramwell was playing his usual strong game, ripping the ball from the mauls and Ben Turner was always in the thick of the action.
Andrew Gallacher a new player was playing his first game for the team.
The two missing players this weekend Mathew Moore and James Preston who normally play in the forwards were missed however in the open play and at half time it was 0 v 2 to the away team.
The second half started very much the same as the first but with Zak and Josh Grundy making some 'jinking' runs into the Tyldesley defence Bolton started to believe in themselves.
Competing for the ball at the breakdown payed off after Alex went over the white wash but literally too far over the whitewash and grounded the ball over the dead ball line.
He soon made up for this simple mistake with an excellent try two minutes later. 1 v 2
Bolton started to play well and won more ruck ball than Tyldesley and Milo Holmes went over to score after Tyldesley had made the score 1 v 3.
The score now 2 v 3 with 5 minutes remaining a great passage of play on the left wing with Alex combining with Josh Grundy who bravely dived for the line avoiding two big Tyldesley defenders.
The final score was 3 v 3. This was second match against Tyldesley ending in a score but was played with great sportsmanship from both sides.
Player of the match for Bolton was Ben Turner for his tackle count.
