Moore of the same for Bolton U15's

Hawcoat Park made the long trip South to take on Bolton in this friendly fixture. With several players unavailable Coach Paul Airey switched the team around giving players a chance to shine in different positions.
The forwards consisted of Crook, Dawber and Hussain in the front row with Richardson and Patel behind them and Kay, McGaughey and Moore playing in the back row.
McDowell started at 9, with Milo Holmes moving to 10, Kernick played alongside Greenhalgh in the centres with the two Sam's on the wing Seddon and Dawson. Josh Grundy moved back into his old position of fullback. Luis Jones, Regan Aspinall and Benjamin Turner started on the bench.
Captain for the day Matthew Moore playing at number 8 was the first to score, with Kier Kernick adding another try in the first half.
Milo Holmes made it three tries to nil in the first half. Hawcoat Park never gave up however and excellent refereeing by Alex Metcalfe kept the game flowing. In the second half Turner came on for Greenhalgh, Aspinall for Kernick and Jones for McGaughey.
Josh Grundy was to score the try of the game when he kicked his own ball ahead from full back position and gathered it to score.
Before the end of the game Benjamin Turner added a conversion and a cheeky drop goal to make the final score 25 v 0 to the home side.
Best Tackler went to Tom Crook, Player of the match award went to Matthew Moore and most contribution went to Kier Kernick.
