Bolton emerged victorious after a close contest against a strong Marple team

Marple started more brightly, looking to move the ball wide and Bolton had to defend

20 minutes in Gareth Pritchard scored after Bolton's 1st foray into the opposition 22

Marple replied with a well worked score. 7-5 to Bolton at the break

Bolton pack stepped up the workrate in the 2nd half and we dominated for a 20 minute spell: tries for Gareth Pritchard, Daniel Doyle and a fine run in from Richard Gallacher

Marple rallied and closed the game with a deserved try
