The game started well for Bolton with newly named player of the season, Chris Mee and Ash Cooper making big inroads into the opposition 22. five mins in a break down the wing led to Marcus O'Donohue diving over from 50 centimetres for the first of seven Bolton tries. Conversion ably slotted by Chris Turner.

Good interplay between forwards and backs led to bolton's second try. Ash cooper crossing the whitewash this time. Conversion successful.

Further dominance by Bolton forwards allowed John Stryker to touch the ball down from a pushover. Conversion missed.

A further try by Cooper (missed conv) left Bolton 24 points up at the break.

After the break the clearly dominant Bolton team took their collective foot of the gas. One passage of play led to a close call for Bolton as NLW kicked through. Danny Joseph scampered back to touch the ball down for a 22 drop out just in time.

Socks were pulled up and Bolton pushed forward. Tony Mclaughlin crossed the line .... only to drop the ball whilst running under the posts.

Further tries came from Chris Mee, someone else and a repentant Tony McC (one conversion).

The game was ended a few minutes early, with the ref saving a visibly tiring NLW.
