This weekend sees the rearrangement of the fixture Vs Whitehaven that was originally scheduled for 3rd October.
This is only the second time that Whitehaven have visited Avenue Street and only the third meeting between the two teams with honours currently even. However, Bolton do have a score to settle as the loss away at Whitehaven two seasons ago was the one that ended up costing them the league title. Some questionable decisions and a less than friendly crowd all played their part, however Bolton were simply not good enough on the day. Going into this game on the back of a 56-3 win over Silloth and sitting in 3rd, Bolton are definitely favourites, however complacency will be punished as proven at Ashton 2 weeks ago.
Injury to Niall Murphy means he misses out but Chris Cockton returns to the side in his place at hooker. The rearrangement means Chris Mee and Mike Mills are both unavailable but Bolton welcome back Gareth Evans, James Higgins and Lewis Lockett into the side in replacement.
