Following Rhys Pritchard and Louis Critchlow featuring in the inaugural Lancashire Royals squad last year, Rhys and Louis were again nominated to attend a recent trials night.
From the trials, Rhys featured as part of the Lancashire Royals match day squad which took on Cheshire Harvesters at Sedgley Park RUFC last Wednesday. Unfortunately the Royals found themselves up against strong and well organised opponents, many of whom play club at a higher level than most of the Lancashire lads.
The Harvesters ran out 42-8 winners in the end with Rhys playing on the wing acquitting himself well throughout the game.

The Royals team was established by the County Board in 2016 which recognised that there are a large group of talented and ambitious players, with a strong allegiance to their clubs and Lancashire, competing at Levels 5 and under. It is a representative side giving the opportunity for these players to represent the County
