Bolton applied the early pressure but their lack of pre-season preparation began to show as Chorley got into their stride.

Strong words from Captain Keith Howie stirred the team to produce a better second half performance, but it was too little too late.

Highlights were good performances from newcomers Haidar Maliki and ex-colt Nick Grimshaw and also old timers, the Catherall twins.

Bolton Rugby Club offers rugby at all levels from experienced 1st team players to first time 4th team newcomers. Games are every Saturday at 3pm, with normally 2 games at the club. Training is Tuesday & Thursday, starting at 7pm under floodlights at the club.
