Colne bring their own weather

Good opening pressure from Bolton with play contained in the Colne 22m. Following a drop-out, the ball is collected by Matty Robinson who jink through the defence to score under the posts, 7 – 0.
Bolton concede a penalty for not rolling away from the ball, 7 – 3.
Tap penalty is taken quickly, with Duncan Craigen drawing his man and passing to Ben Hill, who draws his man and then fails to pass to his supporting winger Pete Burke. Fortunately Hill forces his way over the line to score. 12 – 3.
The first half has lots of Bolton pressure but they were foiled by a strong tackling Colne defence. Maybe the second half will have more opportunities.
