Snr Colts @ Sharks 7s

Bolton speculatively entered the inaugural Sharks 7s over the half term break to represent the Club with our friends at Sale and give a bit of variety to training / playing. Most of those representing the club hadn’t played much 7s before, but there was a core of the players who did so well in the summer Caltucker competition. Opposition came from five other north west clubs / schools who were taking it seriously and had obviously practiced! Games were played on grass and the new 3G pitch at Burnage which takes some getting used to physically and mentally. A tiring five games over the afternoon didn’t see any wins but some good scores from well executed moves as skills developed and for entertainment the Bolton lads must have taken the prize for wise cracks and general banter!
