Bolton too powerful for Trafford Metrovicks

Bolton u16's left it to the last league match of the year to pull all the stops out against Trafford Metrovicks. Bolton travelled the short distance to Trafford glad that a game is actually taking place after the dismal weather recently.
Bolton started the stronger team with their forwards punching holes in the Trafford defence and it wasn't long before James Evans crashed over for his first try after great back play which was converted by Ben Turner.
2 minutes later Josh Grundy playing at full back saw a gap behind the defence and chipped ahead raced ahead and touched down for Boltons second try.
Ben Turner converted the try to make the score 0-14
The Bolton forwards were on fire marching the ball up the field at every opportunity, this eventually paid off with Dylan Harney playing at wing forward crashing over on 24 minutes. Turner converted to make the score 0-21.
Trafford never gave up but they were no match for the away team. Sam Dawson sealed the first half off after Ben Turner's cross field kick found Sam on his own on the wing which he caught sweetly and scored just prior to half time. Pick of the first half was Morgan Skeels-Caldwell at 8, Cameron Richardson playing second row and Connor McGaughey who was involved in everything at hooker.
Score at half time 0-26
Bolton continued their dominance in the second half and on 3 minutes Cameron Richardson scored with the biggest cheer from the sidelines a well deserved try. Ben Turner was on hand to convert the try. 0-33
2 minutes later the game was won by James Evans's second try converted by Ben so with the score now 0-40 the game then reverted to a training game with the score back to 0-0.
Bolton made wholesale substitutions and the game continued for 30 minutes in which Trafford scored one try to Bolton's 4. Ben Turner converted one of the tries before handing over kicking duties to Milo Holmes who unfortunately missed and Josh Grundy who managed to slip on approaching the ball and the ball rolled harmlessly towards the posts.
