Match Report Under 14's 9th January 2011

Bolton won the toss and LSH kicked off into our pack which gave us the chance to put pressure on LSH pinning them in their 22 for a good 5mins, however a break from their number 8 and a fast run down the right hand side gave them the first try of the game and with a great kick put the score at 0-7 .
LSH had a better re start than us and soon followed another try by the same number 8 straight down the pitch again the kick was good, this was enough to make Bolton’s heads go down as they thought this was the tone of the game to follow.

After half time and a good talking to Bolton realised that the game wasn’t won and came back bigger and better, putting LSH under pressure in all areas , Bolton sat on the 10 yard mark , when a text book rolling maul started pushing LSH under the sticks and giving Bavrilk his first Bolton try with his brand new boots!!

Bolton carried on with domination within the white line and soon got another try by Jack.
LSH responded by another fast pace run away try but this time not getting the kick.
LSH carried on pushing and they gave a great performance by pinching our ball and again straight run down the pitch for another try.

This only made Bolton more determined and within 5mins some good play by the pack let Jack throw out the ball to our back line which was taken up by Mathew to score his try of the game.

By this time the atmosphere was electric on the side line as it had been a swinging game, and only a few mins to go we again pinned ourselves on LSH touch line, keeping up the pressure and then saw Louis and Cameron over the line with both sets of hands claiming the try.

Well Done to William who converted his first kick after taking over the role.
