Mark Cueto says "hello"!

The U14s travelled to the Sale Sharks’ training ground at Carrington on the Monday of half-term to take part in a training session won as a prize for selling the most tickets to watch Sale Sharks vs London Irish at the Reebok stadium last season. 17 lads and their parents made the trip to see the boys being coached by Sale Sharks Academy coach David Wilkes and Community Coach Danny Carlton. They were also taken on a tour of the very well appointed and brand-new gymnasium and facilities, and even got a 'Hello' from England World Cup player Mark Cueto.
In-between coaching sessions, the U14s were able to watch first the forwards, and then the backs being put through their paces in what looked like gruelling coaching sessions by the Sale coaches. Just before leaving for home, the lads caught a glimpse of the Australian Rugby League squad who had turned up to use the great facilities that Sale have to offer.
Our thanks go to David Wilkes, Danny Carlton and Sale Sharks for having us for the day. It really was a most interesting and enjoyable day and the lads are looking forward to seeing some of the Sale players once again on 25th November when they will be ball boys at Edgeley Park.
