Aldwinians 30 - Bolton Buccaneers 27

Bolton Buccaneers travelled over to Aldwinians RUFC on Sunday for their first ever competitive Mixed Ability fixture - a momentous day for Bolton Rugby Club

To even up numbers a few of the Bolton players pulled on Aldwinians shirts, the game started off at a frantic pace for the first couple of minutes then levelled off quite quickly. Some great competitive rugby was on display at times but the camaraderie and spirit in how the game was played was the real highlight for everyone. The two sides were evenly matched and Aldwinians just edged it 30-27.

Big thanks to Aldwinians MA team who were such brilliant hosts, and the Buccaneers are already looking forward to their next fixture.

Bolton try scorers: Karl Jacques, Matty Brennan, Marcus Down, Spencer Rowbotham & Alex Smith
