Congratulations to Huw Nightingale who won a gold medal at the Winter Olympics on Sunday. Huw won 'snowboard cross mixed team gold' with Charlotte Bankes to secure Team GB's first ever Winter Olympic title on snow.

Huw’s dad, Clive Nightingale, held the position of chairman of Bolton Rugby Club for 13 years before the family relocated to Austria in 2007.

Huw said: “It’s unbelievable. GB on a whole is doing great on the snowboard side. We can thank the National Lottery for that. We want to keep it going and inspire little kids to do it as well, and maybe one day they can get a gold medal."
