A huge thank you to Portlaoise Rugby Club for making the journey over from Ireland to Bolton and giving us such a fantastic day of rugby. It was a privilege to host you and share the pitch in what was a truly competitive and enjoyable game.

What stood out most was the spirit in which the match was played. From the first whistle to the last, it was rugby played the right way with respect, passion, and a genuine love for the game. Both sides competed hard, but always with sportsmanship at the forefront, which is exactly what rugby is all about.

Opportunities like this don’t come around often, and we’re incredibly grateful for the experience. Matches like these help players grow, build friendships, and create lasting memories both on and off the field. It was a brilliant occasion for everyone involved, players, coaches, and parents alike.

We look forward to crossing paths again at Portlaoise next season.
