For the 1st time ever YMO's were included as officials in the Lancashire JRC Finals and 40% were from Bolton - Kevin Longthorne & Jack Good and one of the others is from Cheshire!

A thoroughly enjoyable and superbly organised event at Eccles, the new Lancashire competitions committee should be praised for the massive improvements that have been made this year.

M&DREFS were asked to provide all the officials and took the decision to appoint YMO's to 2 of the matches - Jack & Jeffery - whilst everyone either refereed or acted as AR in two matches.

Jack & Kevin only started refereeing this season and have already officiated at Bolton on many occasions. If any young members are interested in refereeing have a chat with them and they can explain the steps you need to take. The most important things to remember is that courses now fall in line with the season and you must be over 14 on the day of the course.
