A close match

The under 9s made the short trip to Tyldsley today. 

After last weeks performance, we expected more of the same. The boys didn't disappoint! Against a well organised and strong tackling Tyldsley, Bolton gave everything in an end to end game. Good movement of the ball saw 5 tries from Drew Armistead, Callum Purnell getting 2, and one each from Finlay Rennie, Jamie Nuttall and Liam Worswick. 

It required some strong defensive work and big tackling from Bolton to keep the well drilled Tyldsley at bay. And they delivered, Elliot Whittle, Drew Armistead, Callum Purnell, Liam Worswick and A tireless man of the match performance from Noah Greenwood putting in an massive effort.

Final score 12 - 10 to Tyldsley in a game that could have gone either way.
