Bolton secured their second successive victory away at Dukinfield. Playing with no substitutes in the warm spring sunshine meant that every man had to give their all, and Bolton ran themselves ragged for the cause. Sam Atherton and Captain Connor Whittle were solid in the defence and put in some big tackles. Oliver Keogh showed excellent support play and intelligent running and Cameron Halliday organised the line well. Oliver Belle and Blake were work horses in the loose and at the breakdown. Lucas Walsh marshalled the wide channels slowing Dukinfield's wingers.
Yet again, the backs shone, with their speed and agility. Both Leon Hodson and Alex Banister ran in a hat trick of tries each. Sam Atherton capped a great defensive display with a fine score of his own, but Bolton stalwart Ben Price dominated once more with no less than eight tries of high quality.
Dukinfield had 9 players turn up and thanks to Peter Webster who volunteered to play for them. He was a constant thorn in Bolton's side at the breakdown and around the field. Dukinfield worked hard and managed to score seven tries , but Bolton looked comfortable for the win from the outset and did not let it slip away from them.
