Bolton hosted Fleetwood in the vase semi-final on a cold and damp morning, Bolton kicked off the game with an impressive start straight into Fleetwood’s defence to which Bolton pinned them down, lots of drives and scrums followed but Bolton were determined to hit the white wash which we did with Cameron Barbers first try for Bolton. We continued to push Fleetwood and Tom Rotherham came forward with the first try of his two in the game.
Fleetwood took advantage of Bolton’s lack of concentration scoring their first try. Daniel Naughton came straight back at them receiving a great pass from Krisk Sinker which gave him his try, captain Louis Townsend and the scrum pack worked hard to gain the ball to keep the tries coming for Bolton, in which Kark Fullen, Louis Townsend, and Connor Smith all got within minutes of each other.
Fleetwood was now feeling the force of Bolton, but managed to get two more tries and one conversion, but this wasn’t enough as Bolton's, Jack Robinson got his two tries in and so did our new Lad Alfi o’Rouke
